Patricia A. Stainback, DMD
Dr. Stainback realized her passion for dentistry at a young age. Her dentist helped her find her smile again and she wanted to impact others' lives in the same way. In 1987, she joined the centennial class at North Carolina State University (NCSU), studying zoology after which she continued her education in dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, a prestigious Ivy League School in the United States.
When Dr. Stainback isn't nurturing Healthy Smiles, she is spending time with her husband, Horace, and their four children.
Horace Stainback, RDH
Horace was born and raised in Oxford, NC and graduated 7th in his high school class of 1985. He received his first degree from NCSU in Industrial Engineering, and then worked in the food industry for 13 years as an expert in time study and efficiency. This career ended, when the company for which he worked was dismantled.
As a career change, Horace decided to enter the dental field. He went to hygiene school to be able to handle the many aspects of managing a dental office and found that his gentle touch is a great asset to his practice as a registered dental hygienist.
Horace has been a member of Rotary and a private pilot with a rating for high performance airplanes.
